Indian Country Educational Supplies

Indian Country Educational Supplies was founded by the late Leland “Lee” White, “Mke-Dam-She-Ke-Kek” who was a Forest County Potawatomi tribal member and most importantly an author of children’s books. Most of the assets needed for this branding campaign were going to be handwritten on when printed for book orders.

For the logo design, the one and only request from Lee was that a medicine wheel was incorporated. Which is a universally recognized symbol in “Indian Country.” This small start-up business needed a logo along with a few stationery items including business cards, a memo, an invoice sheet and an envelope. When designing I aimed to create a brand that was colorful and modern.
